RANDOX GRAND NATIONAL
  • Aintree Racecourse is located on the A59, just one mile from the M57 and M58, which link the M62 and M6. For more info visit our directions page.

Please check the event page for the most up to date timings here.

We would advise spectators arrive at Aintree Racecourse early to make the most of your day and also to allow for racecourse security procedures.

Please note that these times are subject to change.

Our racecourses continue to operate on a ‘cashless’ basis, including concessions. However, cash may be used when placing bets with all on-course bookmakers.

Customers are being advised not to bring a bag larger than a small handbag (30cm x 10cm x 20cm) with them. Please be aware that there will be no left luggage facility on site.

Bringing a bag will further delay your entry to the racecourse and we, therefore, encourage you not to bring any bags or prohibited items to the racecourse.

Our Jockey Club app is here to help you get the most from your Festival day, and provides:

Although there is no official dress code, smart is preferable and is often adopted. Aintree is a spectacle of colour for all three days of the festival, with many using their trip as an opportunity to showcase their favourite raceday outfits. Hats are optional too but are frequently worn. Sports clothes and fancy dresses are not permitted for the Grand National meeting.

Children require a ticket for entry to the racecourse.  Child tickets can be obtained upon the purchase of a full paid adult ticket by calling 0344 579 3001 and quoting your order number (no further booking fees are applied).

Child tickets are capped to a maximum of 200 for each day.

Please note: children’s issions will be restricted to 2 per adult ticket sold.

No visit to the Randox Grand National Festival is complete without a stay in this vibrant region.

The Tourist Board for the Liverpool City Region offers a free accommodation search and booking service to assist you in planning your stay.

Food and drink cannot be brought onto the racecourse and will be confiscated by security staff upon arrival. Aintree has a wide range of food and drink concessions on offer in all enclosures. Picnics can only be consumed in the parking areas.

Upgrades on your ticket may be available on the day, subject to availability, but we advise you to buy your tickets or badges in advance to avoid disappointment.
